At Axia Squared we were one of the first
companies in the UK to specialise in the provision of
internet connectivity services to corporate business.
Our objective has been, and remains, to work closely with
our customers to understand their businesses in order
to supply the most cost effective solution.
Our business portfolio includes connectivity,
web hosting, hardware and software solutions, e-commerce,
mobile internet services, Application Service Provision
(ASP) and streaming audio and video products, each with
the highest standard of security. In addition, we offer
a complete range of professional services, including development,
project management, web design and security.
Energis Squared manages Europe's
largest web server farm providing support and performance
for many of the UK's most frequently accessed commercial
web sites. Our core network is designed to cater for dramatic
growth, both in terms of customers, new product and service
generation whilst maintaining all day, every day onsite
support.
Up to the minute technology
Our network is among the most technically
advanced available. Using technologies such as ATM, SDH,
Frame Relay and Primary Rate ISDN, we can deliver a range
of products and services to suit all business users.
Multi-Gigabit core backbone, applications
such as virtual private networks (VPNs) remote computing,
audio/video streaming and a multitude of e-commerce solutions
are readily available.
Our Network Operations Centre
controls several data centres, each hosting hundreds of
servers in a controlled environment. These data centres
also host the hardware needed to operate the Energis Squared
International Network -including Routers, Switches, Caches,
modems, UPS, Generators and Back up systems.

A network of support
The Energis network is built primarily
along the National Grid's electricity pylon infrastructure.
The company has over 6,800 kilometres of fibre optic cable
installed throughout England and Wales, a capacity sharing
agreement with Thus and a joint venture, nevada tele.com,
with Viridian in Ireland.
As part of Energis' European strategy,
it acquired a Unisource Carrier Services (now called Energis
Carrier Services), a pan-European carriers' carrier, in
September 1999; completed the acquisition of EnerTel,
the Dutch telecoms operator, in January 2000; and in Germany
has formed Energis Deutschland, combining its recent acquisitions
and internet data centre
