Summary
AxiaNET has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings, and to putting effective systems and controls in place to ensure slavery and trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chain.
Our commitment
- We comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all related UK legislation.
- We expect the same standard from every supplier, contractor and partner we work with.
- We pay our staff fairly and lawfully, and verify the right to work of everyone we employ.
- We do not use forced, bonded, involuntary or child labour, and we will not knowingly work with anyone who does.
Our supply chain
We assess the risk of slavery and trafficking in our supply chain and give greater scrutiny to higher-risk relationships. Suppliers found to be in breach may have contracts terminated.
Raising concerns
Any employee, contractor or member of the public who suspects modern slavery connected to AxiaNET should report it immediately to helpdesk@axia.co.uk, or follow our Whistleblowing Policy. Concerns can be raised in confidence and without fear of retaliation.
Responsibility
The AxiaNET management team has overall responsibility for this policy, which is reviewed at least annually.
