AxiaNET is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our staff, visitors, contractors and anyone affected by our work. We comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all relevant regulations.
Our commitments
- Assess and control risks across our offices and any site we work on, including datacentre and customer premises.
- Provide safe equipment, safe systems of work, and the training to use them.
- Maintain a clean, well-lit and ergonomic office, including for display-screen equipment.
- Provide first-aid provision, clear fire procedures and accident reporting.
- Ensure field engineers follow safe working practices, including working at height and electrical safety.
Responsibilities
Management is responsible for implementing this policy and providing the resources to do so. Every employee is responsible for taking reasonable care of their own safety and that of others, and for reporting hazards, near misses and accidents.
Reporting
Hazards and incidents should be reported to management promptly. Reportable incidents are recorded and, where required, reported under RIDDOR. Contact: helpdesk@axia.co.uk or 01923 333 111.
Review
This policy is reviewed at least annually and whenever there is a significant change to our operations.
